Louise Austin has been longlisted in the Bath Children’s Novel Award, her manuscript, The Undead Journals of Alex Abbott, was one of 21 standout manuscripts selected by the panel from the 1,218 submissions that were received from authors in 40 countries.

Louise’s “madcap paranormal romp” was selected by one of the readers as their ‘golden vote’, reserved for a single manuscript that the reader can’t stop thinking about and that they would especially love to read in full.
