Louise Austin has been announced as the winner of the Cornerstones PWA Prize for most promising Bath Children’s Novel Award 2022 longlisted manuscript. Louise wins a place on the Edit Your Novel course from the editors at Cornerstones Literary Consultancy in collaboration with Professional Writing Academy.

Judge Helen Corner-Bryant, founder and director of Cornerstones Literary Consultancy, said of Louise’s manuscript, The Undead Journals of Alex Abbott: “My favourite has to be The Undead Journals of Alex Abbott… Alex’s voice is upbeat, fresh and I like the vampire quest at its heart. I think the middle-grade audience will love it.”
