My Review
Separated from her parents and alone on the island of Norwich after rising seas have covered most of the land, Zoe takes a little boat and heads to find her family. This is a shorter read, so isn’t too intimidating, but it’s beautifully written and atmospheric with a Lord of the Flies edge to it. It makes an excellent class read for upper KS2, as it raises lots of interesting themes and potential avenues for discussion.
