My Review
This fast-paced adventure sees Puffin and her best friend Lance racing to save the last of the kuri, a rare magical wildcat, from a scientist who wants to steal its healing powers.
This book is beautifully written, but approachable, as it’s not too long and has gorgeous illustrations by David Dean to break up the text. There’s plenty of action to keep the pages turning, but it also has lots of heart and will appeal to kids who love nature. It’s set in our world with magical elements and will appeal to animal lovers and kids who enjoy adventure stories of kids overcoming obstacles and seeking adventure.
