As punishment for his misdeeds, Norse trickster god Loki is banished to Earth in the form of an eleven-year-old boy for some moral improvement. Frustrated by the loss of his godly powers, he records his daily struggles in a magical diary that calls out his many lies. Scattered with Loki’s illustrations, this book is accessible and great fun as we discover that Loki has no idea about good and evil or how to tell a friend from an enemy.
This book is littered with references to Norse mythology and witty observations about the absurdity of life on Earth. Most importantly, it’s really entertaining and enjoyable.
