Hari Kumar: Ultimate Superstar
My Review
Hari knows he’s going to be a superstar, and the film festival competition at school is his chance for that lucky break. But when the new kid he’d planned to take under his wing befriends his bully instead, and his besties fail to appreciate his artistic vision, the project doesn’t go according to plan. Hari must pull it all together if his team is going to stand a chance of even entering the contest.
This book is a fizzing, high-energy delight to read. Hari is full of joy, enthusiasm and thousand-mile-an-hour plan-making and you can’t help but fall in love with him and his warm, wonderful friends and family. This book is pure fun, with so many funny asides and such joyful, positive ND representation; an absolute must-have for your year 4 book corner.
