Corman is a young giant, who has left the safety of his underground home for the first time to help his father find the medicine his ailing sister needs. Jacq is the daughter of giant hunters, grieving the recent loss of her mother from the human city built from the bones of the senseless, violent giants beyond the walls. Pressured to follow in her parents’ footsteps, she longs for a different future.

Their worlds collide as they meet, lost and afraid in the forest, reliant on one another to survive and make their way home to safety. Raised to fear each other’s kind, they come to realise they have more in common than they could ever have imagined, and that they need to work together to reveal the truth behind the tall tales keeping their people at war.
