My Review
Many books tell us it’s okay to be different, that we should dare to be different. This book makes it aspirational. Twitch is an avid birdwatcher with a strong sense of justice, so when an escaped convict is at large in the local woodland where he has a hide, his skill set seems perfect to track down the killer and find the missing fortune. But all is not what it seems.
I came across this series in the classroom, because kids who picked up book 1 could soon be found tearing through the whole set. I read the first book without putting it down – Twitch is an incredibly compelling character, there are mysteries galore and the book has so much heart. A must-have for KS2 school libraries and book corners.
